Two corpses were exhumed by villagers, because of land dispute between two families.
The corpses were exhumed in Isiozi Umuaka, Imo state,and they are those of a mother and her daughter-in-law who died 6 and 4 years ago respectively.
The deceased were not buried earlier after their death as there was no place to bury them due to the lingering land dispute. They were eventually buried on the land under dispute three weeks ago but this caused displeasure to the other family as the case is still in court.
The dispute took a very ugly turn yesterday Tuesday, September 24 when both corpses were dug out from the land by the other family and deposited at Nwankwoikpa market square in Imo state.
