Bayelsa State House of Assembly approved Governor Douye Diri’s request of N2.9 billion loan to buy operational vehicles for him, the deputy governor and top government functionaries.

According to Sunnewsonline, the loan was granted after the immediate past speaker, Monday Bubou-Obolo moved the motion.
The loan which has a repayment tenure of 36 months, received unianimous support from the lawmakers before its approval.
This loan for the new governor is sad. 2.9Bn just to buy cars for the new governor? What happened to the ones Dickson used? This is how they waste monies of the common man
