Alhaji Aliko Dangote, just clocked 61 years old yesterday and he marked his birthday in a grand fashion with his family, friends, and colleagues. Dangote was hosted to an office celebration by his employees in his companies to mark his big day.2

Besides several awards he got on his birthday, the business guru also had series of birthday cakes in numerous designs that came into his vast empire. From a mosque to a Dangote cement Truck, Refinery and a Farmland.

He not only received lots of Cakes but also had a billboard advert fixed in his honour in Lagos.

He being is ranked by Forbes magazine as the 100th-richest personality in the world and the richest in entire Africa and peaked on the list as the 23rd-richest person in the world in 2014.

He has surpassed Saudi-Ethiopian billionaire Mohammed Hussein Al Amoudi in 2013 by over $2.6 billion to become the world’s richest person of African descent.

Dangote is married, with three children, and lives in Lagos, Nigeria.
