Governor Amosun Vows to enhance the Welfare of Ogun State Civil Servants

The Governor of Ogun State  Ibikunle Amosun, visited some of the Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) yesterday, within the state secretariat, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta. While addressing civil servants in Abeokuta, the Governor vowed to enhance their welfare.

During the visit, which occurred to be on the first day of work in the year 2018, he applauded the civil servants for their commitment to duty and urged them to take more seriousness in the course of duty.
The governor, who also applauded all the civil servants in the state for their contributions towards the development of Ogun State. He then  assured them of improved welfare.
According to Governor Ibikunle Amosun, “the civil servants, are always ready to give their support to any government that is ready to work,” and also mentioned that “If we want to get it right, the Civil Service must be well strengthened.”
The Governor also vowed that the operations and filing system of the MDAs will be digitalized, to complement the hard copy filing system, promising to work on the regular release of bulk payment for the effective running of the offices.
