After Miracle was crowned the winner of the N45 million grand prize of BBNaija yesterday, beating off other housemates such as Tobi, Cee-c, Nina, Alex, Governor Hassan Dankwambo of Gombe State, responded after the show came to an end.
Governor Dankwambo who gave an advice to Nigerian youths to get their PVC tweeted this;
“As Big Brother Nigeria comes to an end, I hope our ever hard working youths will join us in voter registration drive and encouraging other Nigerians to register.
“Go get your PVC.”
Congratulations Miracle. I just heard 30million people voted in Big Brother finals and about 170million voted in all. Interested in ideas of how we can get the youths interested in our electoral process just like they are interested in
#BBNaija. Ideas please. Go get your PVCIf you don’t have a PVC or participate in the electoral process, then why are you complaining of bad leaders? Go and get your Voters Card. It is your passport to a good life.
Governor Dankwambo had made a tweet before now;
Spending 24hrs on a queue to get your
#PVCis more important than watching#BigBrotherNaija all day. There’s no future in#BBNaija3. Join hands with fellow young people to rescue Nigeria.
This came a few hours after a report. Governor Rochas Okorocha made a reveal while he was addressing newsmen in Owerri on Saturday. According to him, in order to take part in several activities in the State, including receipt of salaries, civil servants must get their PVC.
Governor Rochas Okorocha who also noted that many people in the state are nonchalant about obtaining their voters’ card, stated that residents of the state will not be able to take part in any socio-economic activities such as the payment of salaries and getting admission into schools within the state without their PVC.
