Reekado Banks has finally broken silence on his relationship with Lil Kesh and according to him, Lil Kesh is neither his friend nor his enemy.
Reekado Banks has been asked countless times if he once had a cordial relationship with Lil Kesh, but he has never been opened about the issue. He was once asked again in a radio interview he had on SoundCity 98.5 FM, Lagos and he finally made his mind known.
If you remember, last year, Reekado made an outburst at his ‘Thank You’ concert that was held in Ibadan which was being directed at Lil Kesh. Awazi asked him what prompted the outburst.
Reekado said he was still feeling hurt about the 2015 Headies Awards incident that happened. He was then asked again what was his current relationship status with Lil Kesh, he said he ‘wasn’t exactly friends with Lil Kesh neither were they, enemies’.
He revealed a little secret about his next music project, he took the chance to declare he would soon be releasing a mixtape soon.

At Reekado’s concert last year in Ibadan, after an awesome performance that held his fans spellbound in the event, He had been captured on video saying ‘That person wey them talk say him better pass me, I better pass him papa’ which translates to ‘The fellow that has been reported to be better than me, I am better than his father’.
People at the concert didn’t like the statement he made and he was booed instantly after making the rants.
Immediately the video was circulated online, Nigerians insinuated that he was referring to Lil Kesh, whom he had won in the ‘Next Rated Category’ of the 2015 Headies Awards, but music lovers claimed Lil Kesh was even better than him and so he deserved the award.
