Presidential candidate of the PDP for the February 2019 presidential election, Atiku Abubakar, described President Buhari as a failure who has never run any successful business enterprise in his life.

Atiku made this statement while replying the comment made by the spokesperson of the APC, Yekini Nabena, who in a statement released, questioned Atiku’s source of wealth.

Atiku in his response released by his media organization, reminded the APC that the former president has run more successful business enterprises unlike President Buhari.

“We wish to remind APC’s National Publicity Secretary, Yekini Nabena, that Atiku Abubakar is not like President Buhari who has never run a successful private business throughout his life.

Unlike Muhammadu Buhari, Atiku Abubakar is an expert job creator who has founded many successful and thriving businesses including the American University of Nigeria, Yola; a microfinance bank that has moved 45,000 families out of poverty and Rica Gado, a livestock feed company that has significantly reduced instances of herdsmen/farmers clashes by providing a business-friendly solution instead of asking Nigerians to give up their lands for cattle ranching or face death, as the Buhari government did.” the statement read

Atiku urged the Buhari Presidency and the APC to mention even one successful private endeavor that the President had successfully run.

“By private enterprises, we are not referring to 150 cows that never increase in number, year in year out,” the statement read

  1. Well Baba Atiku, the good thing about it all is “This is not a private business” as you have indirectly described it to be, it is called a public office, to serve the people of Nigeria.
Come to think of it, someone with soo much opportunities to even employ competent persons to manage any type of business he so chooses to engage in, yet he’s concern doesn’t even hover around building an empire or increasing wealth.
From my opinion, that is someone with content in his body, mind and soul.
That is someone that is satisfied with his ability to provide for his family their basic needs and not running after excesses like “Most Politicians” do.
That is someone without a political cunning mind, but one willing to serve and even instil discipline in the now Nigerians.
    That is someone with conscience.
Someone who has seen things going wrong soo bad, that even though he is yet to fully understand those with same zeal as himself to help better the nation, he still fights his other self that would’ve wanted him to just go and and rest.
Someone whom even with all the blows and punches thrown at him, doesn’t give up on the country, himself and what he stands for.

Today I write, and not because I have gained any extras from the administration of PMB, rather even lost some luxurious I used to have, but I believe in him, I believe he stands to correct the wrong that has been rooted deep inside all of us. And if at the end of it all, I am wrong, then I have myself to blame, but at least I had something I believed in, and I stood by it by all means.

Thank you Baba Atiku, I am in no way condemning the positivity of your intentions, I only have been convinced enough that Baba Buhari needs more time to deliver.
