A Kogi state high court, sitting in Lokoja today granted bail to Dino Melaye, senator representing Kogi west senatorial district, on the suit of illegal possession of firearms leveled against him.
Presiding over the case,Justice Nasir Ajana, granted Dibo bail with the sum of N10million and one surety
The Judge said the bail was granted because of the health condition of the applicant and the fact that the senator did not have any previous dealing in firearms.
Recall that Senator Dino Melaye, was arrested by the Nigerian Police Force at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja
while on his way to Morocco.
