A teenage female cultist by name Josephine, as well as her other gang members, have damaged the right eye of a girl known as Lilian Friday, who is also an SS1 student of Community Secondary School that is situated in Otuoke, Bayelsa State.
The incident which has happened yesterday evening have left many people amused by the incident. It was disclosed that the SS1 student of the same secondary school has been persuading Lilian to join her cult group.
Josephine after she has force Lilian to join her cult group in which the latter has refused got angry and made a vow to disfigure Lillian’s face.
Lilian was attacked late yesterday while she was coming back from her uncle’s place when she met her fellow classmate Josephine who insisted that it is a must for her to join her cult group.
Consequently, the two classmates engaged in a fight, and then the Josephine signaled her gang members, who came around and held the victim to the ground, then stabbed her right eye and then ran away.
Sadly, efforts to arrest the suspect have not been successful, as the Otuoke community is yet to grant arrest warrant to the parents of the victim because it is against their practice for someone to make arrest in the community without the approval of its leadership.
